Laser Cut

Date night is back in full swing now that S is back from visiting family half-way across the world. We took it pretty easy for our first outing as "legal newlyweds" last Friday and dined at Gaonnuri. Located in Koreatown and a block away from our apartment, it's slightly more upscale compared to its neighbourhood counterparts. We have our (cheap) favourites in K-town but Gaonnuri's location on the highest floor of a highrise and a FANTASTIC view of the city skyline was a great alternative for our mini celebration!
via - pretty views in restaurants are pointless if the food isn't up to par but I gladly give this place a thumbs up!

When I said we took it easy, I meant it. I didn't even bother changing out of I wore to work like I usually do. Though I did switch out the neutral belt and black pumps for sequins and a little leopard print. (And YES - the dress is everything I hoped for - the details are well-done, the dress is lined and it works for day/night!)
Kohls x Catherine Malandrino lasercut dress (already on sale!) Anthropologie Enchanting Eyes Belt (sim {just ordered with free shipping} and sim), Banana Republic ring, Valentino studded sandals (last seen here - identical option)

That dress looks amazing! I love it with the almost negative space contrast of the silver belt- delightful, as usual. Amazing view too! Come to think of it, I have rarely ever gone above ground level in NY. That seems kinda silly in the city that scrapes the sky. I must remedy that next time!

Wow, I love this dress...and the belt is a nice touch. I would be inclined to wear this dress without a belt but I like how it defines the waist. And I bet you could wear this dress with any kind of sassy shoe. The view from dinner looks amazing!
